Privacy Policy
Indie Time keeps the data it needs to run the clock — and not much else.
What we store
Your artist name, email address and a hashed password (we never store your password in plain text). Songs you upload and their files. Your Likes, thumbs downs, subscriptions, playlists and reports. Whether your email address is verified — new accounts confirm it by email before uploading, subscribing or purchasing. Basic server logs (IP address, pages requested) for security and debugging.
What we do with it
We use it to operate the service: showing charts, running countdowns, building your playlists and library. We do not sell personal data.
Advertising
Free accounts hear short advertisements between songs. Those are first-party "house ads" uploaded and served by Indie Time itself — no advertising network sees your listening. In the future, Indie Time may also serve audio ads through a third-party audio ad network (AdTonos); if that launches, this policy will be updated first with what that network receives, and IndieTime+ subscribers will continue to hear no ads at all. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe; we receive your subscription status, never your full card details.
What other users see
Your artist name, your songs, their Like counts and remaining time, and your public playlists. Your email address is never shown to other users.
Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Account Settings. Deletion removes your account, your uploaded song files, playlists, subscriptions and votes. Songs whose clocks run out are deleted automatically by the service.
